IRONIES OF LIFE.

Legs crossed and arms folded, thinking of the unsettled realities of life. Not being able to understand the harsh but yet common ironies in life. We all hope for the best and some work so hard to achieve that, but never get to that point. Some just wish for it and put in little or no effort and yet the sky becomes their starting point.

Wealth and happiness is what we all hope for but it eludes those who merit it the most, and yet is given in abundance to those who are not worthy of it. Not that I have labelled some unworthy to partake of it (wealth and happiness), but some from what they have done or the position they find themselves in, are just unworthy of it. I have asked my self countless times why kind people die so untimely. I concluded that they were too good for this earth.

Acquiring all the different designs from different countries are what most of us really term a perfect life and that has made many to slide into vanity. Healthy discussions or relationships void of those things are far from being obtained. Vanity is on the increase and we are being swallowed in it gradually.

Love..........that is far fetched. Finding a sincere person who truly loves and cares is another big wahala. The kind hearted ones are so unfortunate that they end up with liars and pretenders in relationships and never taste the sweetness of love. The ones who ain't interesting in finding love easily find people who would genuinely love them. 

Materialism has become the only reason for love and relationship and we just keep watching and hoping we still find true love (for those of us who still believe in true love). In life, we sacrifice for those who ain't worth it at all and maybe neglect the sincere ones who has been there all along.

Good friends are hard to find. They either betray you or you betray them. The days of truly having a close friend whom you can confide in is long gone. Life with good friends that makes you forget your worries is what everybody wants. Friends you can tell anything without fear of being sold out. But where can you find them?

Job security does not exist in our dictionaries again. Graduates are roaming the streets looking for jobs and yet not finding any. Some so clueless as to where to start In life. The little that has been blessed with ideas still find it difficult to achieve their full potential.

I can go on and on and keep lamenting on how life has been unfair to us in one way or the other and the truth remains that no one has it all. If you have all the money, something may still be lacking.  I wouldn't want you to be swallowed in self pity if you have found yourself in any of this situation. What we want is solution and solutions we must get.

Life has a way of teaching us what matters and in my many research, I have found lack of character to be one of the problems of life. People with sound character are few. Many neglect the importance of investing in themselves and expect the best from others. Being vain is not a good character. Kindness, humility, patience, self control, love etc all makes a good character. We all need people who are rich in character to be around us as friends and lovers but the most important thing is having what we are looking for in others in ourselves.

If you need a true friend, be a true friend to someone else, if you want a job, work hard to create employment opportunities for others. If you want true love, prepare yourself to be someone else's true love. If you want happiness, make others happy. If you want mercy, show others mercy.  Whatever you give out will return to you. Life could be sweet when we are more interested in giving than receiving.
