SUCCESS TIPS FOR A NEW YEAR/2016...
I am so excited that the year is coming to an end and even though I may not have achieved so much, am grateful for the ones I have achieved and so happy about life itself. Next year is another opportunity to continue the grind and strive for better accomplishments. That's what we all pray for right?
I earlier published an article on detoxing for a new year and am hoping that helped a lot of people, cause being free and lighter is the best way to step into the new year. So on this publish, I decided to share some success tips I drafted while working on my Kender's self discovery questions. (Permit me to digress a bit).
The issues of self discovery, finding our purpose and niche in life has been one of my topmost concerns. Seeing and talking to different persons who do not have a clue on how they could fit into the system bothers me a lot. The wonderful thing is that most of them are super talented and with just a little guide they would discover who they are and find fulfillment in life. That being said, its up for next year.
Our goals and visions for the next year should have all been set in place and detailed enough which is so good. We should also bear in mind that we shouldn't be so focused at achieving the goals that we fail to grasp the whole lessons towards achieving the set goal. The processes we go through while achieving those goals are what refines us and makes us better to re-strategize again. The whole struggles and sweat we pass through to achieve any set goal molds us into better persons.
So here are my success tips for a new year
* Give yourself a moment to appreciate what you have achieved over the years. Your improvements, failures, setbacks etc. This will help steer your spirit up for the next year's journey.
* Recognize your potentials and maximize them. Do not think of any part of your intellect or skill to be too small to fit into the system. Maximize all you have and make the best out of them.
* Visualize and speak positively.
The power of others speaking great and positive things into our lives or achievements works wonders. The even greater aspect is speaking positively to yourself. When you do so, others will follow suit. Visualizing yourself doing great is one way of mapping out with the mind's eye. Once you think it, you can do it. So visualize it and speak it while getting it done.
* Always ask for help when you need help and be grateful when it comes.
* Surround yourself with positive people and vision partners who can help you climb the ladder of success and you in turn help them. Not all vision partners are positive, so be sure to get rid of all the negative people around you cause you need positivity to move forward. Good network of friends keeps us going.
* Make most of every second, minute and hour of every day. Don't be caught doing nothing. Invest your time and put your brain to work.
* Spend most of your time doing things you are good at. This will bring you happiness, cause you are less likely to struggle or get frustrated.
* Never stop learning new things or improving on the ones you know. This will make you remain fresh and relevant.
* Learn from your failures and set backs.
There is no time to cry or sulk over failures. Failure is a map and it shows us a way not to do a particular thing. When we fail, we discover something important about our self and how we didn't get it right. We get propelled to try out new ways and we keep learning from that.
* Be passionate about life, work, business, family, relationship etc. This way life becomes more exciting and waking up everyday will amount to success.
* Treat every one with respect and courtesy
The path to success differs for us all. Those who enjoy and learn from their steps, thrive in their path. Be that person who finds joy even in the hardest moments and you will never fear what comes next on this arduous journey to success.
Kender invites you to share your wonderful stories with her and you would get a good counsel on any issue bothering you. Email in topics you would like me to write on as well and it would be most appreciated.
I wish you all a very merry merry merry and merriest Xmas celebrations.
(I would share all my Xmas stories with you'll by next year. You know how it is, Xmas and lots of dramas. Including wedding dramas *winky)
