Being busy does not make u effective.
Watch it!
What do you spend most of your time doing?
Running round the clock yet accomplishing nothing tangible?
That's being busy.

Being busy only accounts for things that does not add value to you. Things that literally takes your time and yet leaves you unfulfilled and empty.

The world is looking for effective people. Productive people who are continually investing in themselves and making good use of their 24 hours.


Effectiveness is what distinguishes you from others. Most people love to appear busy and yet they do nothing. They have a day all planned out and they repeatedly say "oh, I have been so busy"

What have you been busy doing?
Developing yourself?
Making others happy?
Engaging your talents?
Or just like the rest.......busy doing nothing!

Effectiveness makes you a master in your field. It increases your self worth. Great people are known to be effective.

What's the difference between you and the great people we read about, talk about or write about?

They have the same hours in day day just like you and I.

The difference is the number of hours in a day that they effectively invest in themselves.

What occupies your time daily?
What occupies your thought?

I can categorically tell you that those things that you spend your time on daily defines you. Most people rush home every day after their usual work to rest, probably in front of the television. They spend plenty of time on trivial things which yields nothing.

Spend time with yourself. Find out more about your abilities. Harness your skills and talent. Read a book, listen to a message, learn a new skill, spend time working on your dreams even after your 9-5.

If you want to be great, distinguish being busy and being effective. Learn to invest in yourself and give out your best. Associate yourself with winners and never give up on your dreams.

The brown rusty leaves rolled over her legs as she sat helpless on the grass. The park was sparsely populated which made it very easy to stay unnoticed. Lifting her head, struggling to see through the heavy clog of tears welling up in her eyes. The day was getting dark, darkness has become her place of solace. I twisted to critically appraise my curves in the tall glass one last time. I had not watched television or gone on a proper date for over three months, not since work had become so demanding. Part of me still aggrandized the image of lying in bed, snacking on a good pan pizza and finally sleeping off on some random Netflix movies.
