Hey guys, its Christmas again and its a perfect time of the year. I super love Christmas just because it has all the things I love encompassed in it. The lovely time shared with family, colourful decorations, amazing food, nice weather and of course the remembrance of the birth of Christ (which by the way is the best birthday ever).

That being said, its the best time to also share gifts with loved ones. So here are my 12 thoughtful gifts for either him or her.


1) 2019 Diary

A diary is very thoughtful. We need to make plans for the new year and a diary is just a handy pad to do that on.


2) Good old bottle of wine

What are celebrations without a bottle of wine or whisky or even rum. Any good drink will always be a perfect gift. Just find out your partner's taste and surprise him/her to it.


3) Perfume

Smell good, feel good. A bottle of perfume never goes out of style even for a Christmas gift. He/She will have you in mind everything some one compliments their smell.


4) Scented candles

Nothing feels as relaxing as lighting a good scented candle. It's soothing and smells amazing too.


5) Personalized gift basket

This could be hard to pull off if you don't know what he/she likes. You could add chocolates, coffee, drinks, provisions etc. What ever appeals to you will do the magic in putting together a gift basket or you can pick already arranged ones at the store and add some personal touch to it.


6) A pair of socks

This sounds cliché but, its really thoughtful. Come to think of it, its cold this season and who doesn't need warmth on their feet.


7) Home made food or pastry.

If you don't have a good grasp of cooking or baking skills, then this could be a whole lot of sacrifice.  Whipping up a home cooked meal is always deserving of a good partner. Make sure to make it extra special.


8) Changing cinema light box

This specially appeals to me as we get to put up words or phrases that inspires us all year long. Perfect thoughtful gift isn't it?


9) A customized water bottle.

This gift is so simple but also thoughtful. You know what they say "Drink water and mind your business". Well 2019 is the best year to do that. Meaning a customized water bottle will be a perfect gift.


10) Spa appointment gift.

Who else had a stressful 2018?
So, if you gift your partner a wonderful spa day of de-stressing, it will be an amazingly fantastic gesture.

This will exclusively give your partner the choice of getting whatever he/she wants.


12) Good old Cake

Yes, a cake. It's never under appreciated.  A cake to indulge with over the holidays is something I too will cherish

Aunty Kender the weather here is in Lagos is so hot we don't need a socks. Maybe for those in the abroad or for guys who wear it with their shoe. All in all I love the idea of thoughtful gifts and not just gifting for giving sake.

The brown rusty leaves rolled over her legs as she sat helpless on the grass. The park was sparsely populated which made it very easy to stay unnoticed. I twisted to critically appraise my curves in the tall glass one last time. I had not watched television or gone on a proper date for over three months, not since work had become so demanding.
