GET OFF THE SPECTATOR SEAT! ! !

Our everyday life choices matters alot. The choices we make towards our dreams, our visions and life generally are very important and a determining factor of who we are. But what really counts is the choice we have towards life in particular. You have the choice to act upon life or allow life to merely act upon you.
It's easier to choose the former (Acting upon life), but it's our everyday activities and outcomes that are the true representative of what we actually have settled for.
Life can be depressingly sad. It's not enough that news of natural disaster hits the ear almost every now and then but the appalling situation of things is not helping matters at all. I must appluade your courage to read through this column (even without brightly coloured paintings and pictures) cause it's really not easy. Life has a way of silently and persistently telling us we can't go any futher. The means to our big dreams crushing right infront of our eyes. Opportunities only reserved for a selected few.
I know that majority of people in the world sincerely want to do good things and be known for great things. We desperately ask ourselves if there is more we can give to life or more to contribute to humanity.
   Isn't it true?
The world can make boast of great people who in times past wrought unimaginable initiatives, proved certain ideologies to be obtainable. Talented Scientists who made pivotal discoveries, Doctors who performed hard procedures, going through all the risks involved yet coming out successful. There are so many wonderful success stories in the world. Most of these people achieved their greatest feats deciding daily to act upon life. To make life choices that are purpose oriented. They lived their lives based on the timeless principles of vision, humility, perseverance, courage, vision, empathy, innovation and integrity.
You can be one of such persons. Life may not offer you the best you need but you have to make do with the little or nothing you have. (If life offers you lemons, you make lemonades out of 'em. I'm sure you've heard of this before).
It's easier to observe from a distance and keep planning and wishing for things to turn out for the best. The truth is that it may never change. Trying to figure out how to act upon life in the midst of difficulties is the best kind of mindset.
Get off the spectator seat and make those baby steps towards achieving your dreams and oneday you will be strong enough to pull someone else up. Value the days of your early beginnings that are filled with struggles, frustrations and many failed attempts to quit. They polish you to shine more. Your best feats can never be performed in your yesterday, give today  an opportunity for success.
Become the creative force of your own life and your future. Take 100% responsibility of your daily life choices and choose to live based on the timeless principles. You have talents and visions that are exclusive to only you. Coupled with experiences you have gathered over the years that has amounted to a wealth of knowledge. Use them to improve your life and the life of others.
Above all, choose to act upon life (decide on what you get out of life and not the other way round). Live a meaningful and purpose filled life and you'll be guaranteed of joy, peace of mind and greater fulfillment no matter how little the things you have chosen are.

Thank you so much for reading and have a super blessed day!

                                                                                Love you'll ! ! !
